Description

Complete modernization of the hydraulic freight elevator. Water entering the elevator pit and potentially causing unwanted damage to the freight elevator cabling system. As per 2016 BCR, as equipment ages and becomes more obsolete, replacement parts and personnel qualified to work on it will become difficult to obtain. A complete review of the freight elevator and modernization to be completed prior to the addition of Gatineau 2 and requested by Library and Archives.
