GOC1842187-CT - Urgent Health & Safety Modifications for PCH Move

Provide 2 barrier-free paths of travel to the future fit-up space (25 Eddy Street-level 1) that PCH is moving into on April 1st, 2019.  At the moment, the existing space has multiple entrances but none are accessible by any code compliant barrier-free path, from the interior nor the exterior. First barrier-free path goes from the exterior public sidewalk (on Eddy Street) to the interior lift system of the future fit-up space (level 1). This includes the assessment and upgrade/modification of 1 existing exterior concrete ramp as well as the extension of the current overhead steel protection to ensure security. Second barrier-free path is interior and goes from the main corridor of the LTDLC at level 2 to the lift system going down to the future fit-up space (level 1). An interior ramp as well as door access must be upgraded/modified to provide a secure and code compliant barrier-free path of travel. New signage and general door access control revision along these 2 new barrier-free paths of travel are necessary.
