GOC1510325-CS-2 - Water Barrier Feasibility Study

Study for assessing the Rideau River water levels surrounding the John G. Diefenbaker Building and provide recommendations and costs to mitigate unexpected increases. As a result of heavy precipitation and rapid snowmelt, the Rideau River water levels have fluctuated greatly over the years. As a result, the risk of water encroachment along property lines needs to be evaluated. A study will be produced with 3 recommended options and class D estimates. Bridges and dams have sensors in place that monitor river levels, this data will be utilized in the report.
