GOC604499-CS - Analyze Laboratory Equipment and Building Pressurization

The project aims at tackling the following four main objectives:
2.1. Inspect and measure airflow from all existing mechanical systems including all air handling units (AHUs), return fans (RFs) and lab exhaust fan); 2.2. Investigate the existence of building pressurization issues (which may occur sporadically throughout the year) which could explain: 2.2. (a)  The main door remaining open when the dominant winds come from the South West and; 2.2.(b)The recirculation of odors from one laboratory room located in the 5th Floor and sensed in another space on located on the 4th Floor.
2.3. Propose solutions for the existing fume hoods and local exhaust ventilators located on the 5th Floor to alleviate OHS concerns raised by LAC; and 2.4. Provide a detailed condition assessment of all existing AHUs, associated RFs and exhaust fans.
