Replace roofing on selected areas of the Prince George Regional Correctional Centre. This work is being re-tendered with a modified scope of work due to previous bids coming in over the owner's budget. A site meeting has not been scheduled at this time. If bidders wish to review the site please post the request and arrangements will be made for bidders to view the site.
The intent of this bid call is for Brookfield GIS Workplace Solutions Inc. (“Brookfield GIS WSI” to obtain offers (“Bids”) from interested or qualified parties (“Bidders”) to perform the Work required for a Stipulated Price, in accordance with the Contract Documents.
A qualified party is a company capable of performing all requirements of a CCDC-2 Stipulated Price Contract, 2008 version, Supplements thereof, 10% Bid Bond, 50% Performance and 50% Labour and Material Payment Bonds and in compliance with “Instructions to Bidders” issued with the Tender Documents.
Correctional Centre Security Clearances
All employees and service providers, including contractors, sub-contractors, and consultants working on correctional centre projects, working within public or non-public areas of the facilities, shall be security cleared according to this correctional centre security clearance process. The successful proponent will be responsible to ensure that all individuals who will be onsite to complete the work already have the necessary Correctional Centre Security Clearances or alternatively that the security clearance applications are completed correctly and in full immediately following the award of the contract. Individuals will not be allowed onsite to perform the work until all security clearance requirements are completed and approved. Individuals may be required to complete an onsite 30 minute orientation prior to beginning the project. Individuals will be required to complete a criminal history consent form for security clearance and provide a copy of current Government-issued ID. There is no required cost or application fee. Upon receipt of accurately completed forms the estimated processing times are 5 to 10 days. All security clearance forms and instructions are contained within the bid package for review during the tender period.
