GOC450026-PAL-RFP - Consultant - Consultant Services - Building Exterior Cladding Improvements

Statement of Work/Overview:
A project has been created to address the Building Exterior Cladding condition in need of improvements at the Taxation Centre located at 1050 Notre Dame Ave., Sudbury, ON.
A reputable and qualified building exterior cladding consultant is required to conduct a review of the existing exterior cladding conditions of the site and propose/design solution for repairs/improvements to those portions of the composition requiring attention. Upon award of the successful consultant, they will be given recently completed Building Exterior Caldding Inspection (Intrusive) reports to leverage and use as a reference prior to performing your own site review.
 
The successful consultant is expected to design a solution for eventual repairs to be conducted by a General Contractor (to be procured at a later date). The consultant is expected to recommend (at minimum, but not limited to) removal of loose surface coating/paint and repair damaged smooth surface precast concrete panels; apply coating over all smooth surfaced precast concrete panels on the Penthouse upper roof and Penthouse/third floor lower roof level. Consultant will be responsible for creation of Investment Analysis Report(s) for client approval in advance of physical work commencement.
