Scope of Work/Overview:
.1 Work of this Contract involves replacing the existing double man door with a new, industrial sliding door within the warehouse area of the Winnipeg Tax Centre building, located at 66 Stapon Road, Winnipeg MB.
.2 The work includes but not limited to:
.1 Removal of existing double man door. Note door may contain lead paint, contractor to include to demo and dispose of properly.
.2 Demolition of existing wall as indicated.
.3 Removal of existing steel floor angles as indicated.
.4 Asbestos abatement of existing ductwork as indicated.
.5 Relocation of existing steel bollards as indicated.
.6 Relocation of existing junction box as indicated.
.7 Frame new opening as indicated.
.8 Supply and installation of new industrial sliding door complete with automatic control switches, as indicated.
.9 Supply and installation of new steel floor angles and paint, as indicated.
.10 Patch holes in concrete floor as indicated.
.11 Patch and paint wall finishes as required/as indicated.
.12 Provide and install new duct insulation, where existing insulation was abated.
.13 Provide and install new breaker in existing electrical panel board for electrical circuit as required for the door system.
.14 Install conduit and conductors from the distribution panel to the door’s location.
.15 Provide provisions for integration with access control systems (card readers, keypads, or motion sensors).
.16 Ensure all electrical components are properly grounded and bonded according to CEC requirements. Test grounding continuity for compliance.
.3 Work includes demolition and removal of all existing materials that are to be replaced in the above work. Any property or features damaged during the demolition must be replaced or repaired to its original state.
.4 Remove any waste material off site and dispose of properly.
.5 All materials and workmanship must be as per stamped plans and specifications.
