Description

The objective of the feasibility study is to evaluate the technical, and operational aspects of establishing a new Building at the Carling Campus. The Report will evaluate 3 options. The options will include an analysis for a 4, 5, and 6 storey building. This feasibility study will also include a comprehensive 10-year Site Planning exercise in support of an NCC application. The study will provide insights into the project’s feasibility, potential challenges, costing and recommendations for successful implementation of the preferred option.

Proponents are advised that they must preregister via email to Olivier.Sanche@bgis.com. Pre-registered proponents will receive the Personnel Security File Verification Form and must submit to RP2Security@bgis.com. Only Cleared proponents will be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Proponents representative being refused access to the site. Proponents are required to attend the mandatory site visit to be eligible to bid. A maximum of two representatives of each Proponent, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the mandatory site visit.

Event Note

Proponents are advised that there will be a MANDATORY site visit to be held on the date and times specified within the item 1.5 above. A maximum of two representatives of each Proponent, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the mandatory site visit. Secret Level II Cleared proponents will be viewing information which cannot be published on MERX. Attendees will meet the BGIS Representative at the Guard House 3, where paid visitor parking Lot V is located (see Appendix J).

Proponents will be notified by Addenda of any changes to the date of the site visit. Proponents cannot use a representative from another Proponent as its representative to attend the site visit.

Failure for a Proponent to attend a mandatory Site Visit, and acknowledge your attendance and remain present for the duration of the Site Visit will entitle BGIS in its sole discretion to reject such Proponent’s Bid.

Proponents are expected to carefully examine the site, fully inform themselves of the existing conditions and limitations and include in their fee proposal all costs required to meet the terms of the Contract.
