Proponents are advised that there will be an MANDATORY site visit to be held on the date and times specified within the item 1.0 above. A maximum of one representative of each Proponents, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the MANDATORY site visit. Attendees will meet the BGIS Representative at the West entrance of 45 Sacre Coeur Blv. Gatineau, Qc.. Site visits will be conducted in small groups. For mandatory site visits when applicable, Proponents are only required to attend one scheduled site visit to be eligible to bid. Proponents will be notified of any changes to the date of the site visit by Addenda. Proponents cannot use a representative from another Proponent as its representative to attend the site visit.
All individuals attending the site visit must bring their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as: safety shoes/boots, safety vests, hard hats, safety glasses, etc. Individuals without the appropriate PPE will not be permitted to access the site.
COVID-19 Site Specific Safety Plans and social distancing must be adhered to at all times where possible. All individuals are to follow Federal and Provincial guidelines as they relate to Covid 19 preventative measures.
Failure of a Proponent to attend a mandatory Site Visit, properly register, sign the BGIS Site Visit Sign-In Sheet and remain present for the duration of the Site Visit will entitle BGIS in its sole discretion to reject such Proponent’s Bid. Proponents are expected to examine carefully the site(s) at which the Deliverables are to be provided, fully inform themselves of the existing conditions and limitations and include in their Bid a sum to cover the cost of all items contemplated in the Contract.
