Description -  Statement of Work
Perform Type II Asbestos abatement (glove bag) required in Level 1 South Core (below grade, which is defined as a confined space area) for segments below (See attached photos as well)
- MPS straight run – approximately 3 feet on 3” line (approximate)
- MPS fitting x 2 on same pipe – 2 x elbows on 1 1/2” line - (approximate) – about 1 foot on each side of elbow
- LPS fitting on wall. - 1 x elbow on 1” line (approximate) – about 1 foot on each side of elbow
Reinsulation is not included in this scope. 
Moderate Type II (glove bag) - Removal less than 1m2 Friable. Refer to attached procedure.
Signs - needed
Containment – not required with glove bag
PPE -Full Face Respirator/Disposable coveralls
Air Testing required
In the work area (on person monitoring) during the entire shift and daily if work lasts over several days. 
Clearance Air Sampling with aggressive (forced air) sampling. 
If done by a Grab bag – 1 test
Asbestos training certificates will need to be provided to BGIS as part of work permit approval process.
-Work to be scheduled with BGIS at least 2 weeks in advance so DFO can be notified.  Provide schedule with dates, start times and end times to BGIS Property Manager.  Do not walk through tenant spaces with Tyvek suits or bags labelled Hazardous.  Please affix labels when outside of building and remove Tyvek suits in corridor area before entering hallway.
-Work to be done during daytime hours.
Security Requirements: (Mandatory Requirement)
- All workers to be PSPC reliability status cleared.  Please provide list of names of all workers including PSPC reliability status clearance number and expiration date minimum 2 weeks before job start.

-MB Confined space regulations will need to be followed in this area including rescue plan.  A confined space permit will be required to be submitted to BGIS as part of the work permit process. The Contractor / Service Provider must comply BGIS Supplier Terms and Conditions for PWGSC.
