Description

This project is to update the existing Asbestos Management Plan dated 2017. The consultant shall review and consolidate all previous samples for asbestos from reports provided by BGIS into an excel database format that will be provided by BGIS. All samples shall be entered regardless of detect/non-detect. The consultant shall also include all annual reassessments.
The consultant shall analyze the sample history and identify any homogeneous materials that did not receive at least 3 samples. Any gaps shall be addressed as part of sampling in 3.1.10
While assessing the past results and sampling protocol, the consultant shall take into consideration previous renovations in identifying and designating homogenous materials; preferably on a floor-by-floor basis such that samples will demonstrate a better representation of the unique history of each floor.

Additional Bidding Instructions

BGIS would like to bring your attention to the following section of the RFP Lite. The limit of pages that will be evaluated for this project is 9 pages. Any bid response that exceeds the 9-page limit will only have the first 9 pages of the submission evaluated.

3.3.1 Proponents shall respond to the Mandatory and Rated Requirements outlined in Part 4 – Proposal Submission Requirements and present their Technical Proposal in the format specified and in compliance with the page count stated in table 4.9 “Total Page/Weight”. Information provided on pages beyond the stated limit will not be reviewed and evaluated. BGIS will count from the first page of the Technical Proposal (excluding Mandatory Requirements) until the total number of pages allowed is reached. BGIS will not review any pages that exceed the limit. Mandatory requirements should be submitted as the first document(s) in the Technical Proposal but shall be excluded in the page count.
