Deliver IT communications designs, audio-visual designs and physical security projects, from inception to completion, including document management, change of scope, scheduling, cost control, quality management, regulatory and environmental compliance communications, risk management, procurement, approvals, planning & design, commissioning, occupancy, and health & safety. This includes the delivery of Telecommunication LAN/AV Service Rooms, IT & AV Cabling Pathways and Infrastructure, and Security Systems.
Plan and coordinate projects to maximize beneficial use by clients while minimizing disruptions to clients and/or occupants.
Offer value-added solutions by providing cost-beneficial alternatives.
Coordinate with facility management forces to ensure the best solution and optimum turnover of the project.
Work closely as part of BGIS’ Project Management team to ensure continuous improvement and successful delivery of the team’s program of projects.
Carry out site reviews and visits to construction sites and report on observations for quality assurance/control.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and vendors.
Coordinate all security requirements from GAC and stakeholders to the Prime consultant.
Draft, execution and review of all CRB/PCN/SI/RFI/submittals and coordination between the Construction Manager, PSPC, Global Affairs Canada, Prime consultant and stakeholder groups.
Coordinate and lead all onsite/in-person classified reviews as required.
Attend meetings and reviews as required.
Review quotations as required and coordinate between the Construction Manager/PSPC/Global Affairs Canada, other stakeholders, and the Prime consultant, to provide recommendation for BGIS’ approval.
Coordinate with general contractor and commissioning agent throughout all stages of the Project.
