Description

This project is initiated to provide backflow preventers and associated equipment at the domestic water and fire protection water point of entry into the building. The contractor shall provide the necessary back flow prevention devices as per the latest codes and standards and as per the city of Ottawa guidelines. Installation according to provide NMS Specification and Design Drawings. The installation requires a permit along with the approval of drawings as required by the City of Ottawa Backflow Prevention Program.

Event Note

Please bring valid Photo ID and all required PPE to access a construction site, as per the ITT document. Please meet at “New” rear security checkpoint of LBP.
Please meet BGIS Project Manager Graham Connors Representative at Lester B. Pearson - 125 Sussex Dr., Ottawa, Ontario/ Security Check Point. Bring valid ID, face mask and PPE.
Proponents are advised that there will be an OPTIONAL site visit to be held on the date specified within the item 1.0 of the Call Up Instruction Document.. A maximum of one representative of each Proponent, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit.
Site visits will be conducted in small groups.

All individuals attending the site visit must bring their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): safety shoes/boots, hard hats, safety glasses, and face mask. Individuals without the appropriate PPE will not be permitted to access the site.

Proponents are advised that they MUST preregister via email to anne.ethier@bgis.com by the date specified within the item 1.0 of the Call Up Instruction Document, to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Proponent’s Representative being refused access to the site.

BGIS will contact all Proponents that register and confirm the site visit time in the case when there are multiple site visit times.
