GOC4489708-CS - Foam Insulation in Ceiling Stairwells

THIS PROCUREMENT HAS SECURITY REQUIREMENTS
Complete removal and disposal of the existing stairwell drywall ceilings and vapor barrier, located within the area of ice damming, from the exterior wall to the roof peak. All exposed sheathing and roof framing would receive closed cell injection foam insulation (i.e. specific type of commercial spray foam) incapsulating and continuously sealing all framing members, underside of roof sheathing and voids/joints interfacing with adjacent materials. Existing electrical devices, outlets and light sources may need to be replaced, or upgraded to separate them from the spray applied insulation to avoid combustibility concerns and ensure device performance is not hindered. Smoke detectors are located within the stairwell, therefore; these will need to be removed during construction and fire alarm recertification will be required.
