GOC4605892-CS - Mechanical HVAC Upgrades

Replace main office building condensing unit (TRANE, model # TTA090A300CA, Serial # J28198806, Mfg. date 07/1994, R22) including refrigerant lines. AHU is in good condition. Consultant shall account for the accompanied changes, ex. DX coil replacement, to achieve compatibility with the existing AHU and  the utilization of environmental friendly refrigerant. 2.Provide air conditioning to the cell block area including the cells as per the updated PMM standards. Investigate different options such as adding an adequately sized AC coil (including the associated components) to the existing unit AHU-2 serving the cell block area; replacing AHU-2 with new unit that incorporate cooling capacities or, the addition of a new separate dedicated AC unit to that effect and coordinate its operation with AHU-2. 3. Investigate and provide solution to the ventilation issues taking place in the temporary exhibit and the exhibit rooms; among the factors to consider: verification of the ventilation rate requirements, air distribution pattern, air flow balancing, rooms’ pressurization requirements, the components of the serving ventilation system, etc.  4. The electric baseboard heaters relays are located inconveniently at the heaters' level (floor mounted behind the furniture), causing relays to heat up quickly and burn. Investigate the feasibility of relocating the relays to the ceiling space or any other convenient location against the option to replace with new ceiling mounted electric heaters. Spaces' layout, adequate heat distribution and ease of serviceability are among the factors to consider. Added equipment shall be connected to the building BAS, carry out air balancing and, duct cleaning. All work shall be in accordance with NBC, PMM standards, ASHARE 62.1 &applicable codes and standards.
