Description

This project is initiated to carry out the necessary replacement of the overhead doors located in the loading dock and warehouse area. As per quarterly inspection reports, doors have been identified to be replaced as there are ongoing NSCC calls because they don't open/close etc. There are 3 exterior metal roll up doors, each leading into the loading dock bays, 4 interior metal roll up doors and 2 interior canvas roll up doors. These doors are no longer reliable and are getting more and more difficult to repair. The replacement to include all hardware, door operator and safety switches and all other associated systems.

Failure to pre-register will result in the Proponent’s Representative being refused access to the site. BGIS will contact all Proponents that register and confirm the site visit time in the case when there are multiple site visit times. Please include the tender number and title in the email.

A maximum of one representative of each Proponent, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit.

3.3.1. Proponents shall respond to the Mandatory and Rated Requirements outlined in Part 4 – Proposal Submission Requirements and present their Technical Proposal in the format specified and in compliance with the page count stated in table 4.9 “Total Page/Weight”. Information provided on pages beyond the stated limit will not be reviewed and evaluated. BGIS will count from the first page of the Technical Proposal (excluding Mandatory Requirements) until the total number of pages allowed is reached. BGIS will not review any pages that exceed the limit. Mandatory requirements should be submitted as the first document(s) in the Technical Proposal but shall be excluded in the page count.
