Description

Consultant to provide construction documentation for the repairs and replacements outlined in the
GOC49068103 report. This includes but is not limited to the demolition and replacement of the full exterior
composition assembly. The replacement area for the exterior composition assembly is across the width of two
granite stones (area approximately 60.50m2). The exterior composition assembly includes granite stone, sand
/ cement mixture, concrete slab with reinforcement, gravel bed, extruded insulation and membrane on
concrete slab structure. The project also consists the replacement of the elastomeric membrane flashing along
the exterior wall and the replacement of the base metal panel of the curtain wall (length approximately
9042mm).

Attendees will meet the BGIS Representative at the BGIS office at 25 Eddy, Gatineau, Quebec. Proponents are advised that they must preregister via email to
(Chady.Moussa@bgis.com) by (August 3, 2021 2:00 PM) to be authorized to access the site.
Failure to register may result in the Proponents representative being refused access to the site.
BGIS will contact all Proponents that register and confirm the site visit time in the case when there
are multiple site visit times. Proponents will be notified by Addenda of any changes to the date of the site visit. All individuals attending the site visit must bring their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such
as: safety shoes/boots, safety vests, hard hats, safety glasses. Individuals without the appropriate
PPE will not be permitted to access the site.

Additional Bidding Instructions

BGIS would like to bring your attention to the following section of the RFP Lite. The limit of pages that will be evaluated for this project is 9 pages. Any bid response that exceeds the 9-page limit will only have the first 9 pages of the submission evaluated.

3.3.1 Proponents shall respond to the Mandatory and Rated Requirements outlined in Part 4 – Proposal Submission Requirements and present their Technical Proposal in the format specified and in compliance with the page count stated in table 4.9 “Total Page/Weight”. Information provided on pages beyond the stated limit will not be reviewed and evaluated. BGIS will count from the first page of the Technical Proposal (excluding Mandatory Requirements) until the total number of pages allowed is reached. BGIS will not review any pages that exceed the limit. Mandatory requirements should be submitted as the first document(s) in the Technical Proposal but shall be excluded in the page count.
