GOC1840527-NPP - Lighting System Upgrade - Notice of Proposed Procurement

GOC1840527: Complete a full interior, exterior, parkade and emergency lighting review and redesign according to new ASHRAE standards at the Elijah Smith Building located at 300 Main Street, Whitehorse, YT. The project must consider any building certifications and requirements (i.e. BOMA Best Version 3.0).
GOC1840527 should take into consideration:

• Recommendations of Carbon Neutral Studies
• Reduction to building energy use and operations costs; LED has a longer life than fluorescent
• Addition of dimming controls and occupancy sensors for light level adjustments.
• Improvement of technology and equipment standardization
• Improvement of the visual environment and quality of lighting for occupants.
• Consultant to consider building certification requirements (BOMA etc)
