Description

The cladding at 301 Scott St. Fort Frances has been deteriorating over time, including cracked and stained surfaces brick masonry and stone cladding, corrosion staining at railings, damaged metal cornice, failed sealant. These issues have occurred due to weather impact, previous renovations, maintenance activities, and many other factors. The Prime Consultant (Consultant) will be required to provide all necessary Engineering Consultant services to produce detailed analysis and design from preliminary design through to tender ready working drawings and specifications and contract administration services throughout the construction period to close out.

Event Note

Proponents are advised that there will be an Optional site visit to be held on the date and times specified within the item 1.5 of the RFP. A maximum of one representative of each Proponent, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the Optional site visit. Attendees will meet the BGIS Representative at 301 Scott St, Fort Frances, ON. Site visits will be conducted in small groups. Proponents are advised that they must preregister via email to (Abeera.Akram@bgis.com) by the date specified within the item 1.5 of the RFP to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Proponents representative being refused access to the site.

Attendees will meet the BGIS Project Manager in the lobby at 301 Scott Street, Fort Frances. All individuals attending the site must bring their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including: Safety shoes/ boots. Individuals without appropriate PPE will not be permitted to access the site.
