Description

Scope of Work/Overview:
•     Replacement of four pumps in total (two existing fire pumps, one existing jockey pump, and one
   excess pressure pump) within a mechanical room. Local modification of existing pipework to suit
   new pumps.
•     The electrical supply serving the pumps is to be modified to comply with Code requirements. This
   includes demolition of the feeder and relocation to tap off the existing busbar between the
   transformer and the main 2500A breaker. New 400A circuit breaker to be installed.
•     Connection of pumps and VFDs to existing BAS.
•     Seismic sign-off will be required

Job Showing Instructions:
- Bidders are advised that they must preregister via email to Jan.Dietrich@bgis.com by July 27, 2021 to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Bidder’s Representative being refused access to the site.
- A maximum of one representative of each Bidder, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the site visit. Job walk will be conducted in groups to limit the size of group and to maintain physical distancing. Masks must be worn for the duration of the site visit.
- All individuals attending the site visit must bring their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as: safety shoes/boots, safety vests, hard hats, and safety glasses. Individuals without the appropriate PPE will not be permitted to access the site.
Attendees will meet the BGIS Representative at the main entrance of the Library Square Building 300 W Georgia, Vancouver BC.
