In order to manage and prevent further costs due to wildlife damage underneath modular trailers on the BCC site. To date.~$504,558 has been spent via Emergency Projects to remove wildlife infiltration and remediate the damage and waste, and the proactive steps laid out in this scope are meant to mitigate these issues moving forward. Without preventative measures, these incidents will continue regardless of the constant site monitoring.

Event Note

Bidders are advised that there will be an OPTIONAL site visit to be held on the date specified within the item 2.6.15 of the ITT. A maximum of one representative of each Bidder may attend the OPTIONAL site visit. Please arrive early to get through Security. Respondent is required to confirm and provide, in advance, the names of the representatives who will attend. Attendees will meet the BGIS Project Manager, Jim Roberts, at main guard desk at 1 Haanel Drive, Ottawa, ON. Site visits will be conducted in small groups.

Bidders are advised that they MUST pre-register via email to priyanka.pai@bgis.com by the pre-registration deadline on this MERX notice before 2:00 PM to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Bidder’s Representative being refused access to the site

Individuals without the appropriate PPE (such as: safety shoes/boots/glasses/vests, hard hats, etc.), and Photo ID will not be permitted to access the site.
