DescriptionA - Previous Addendum

The scope of work is to address sound transfer between the 7th and 8th floor. As per below, there are four main areas being addressed. Details of the below are as found in the design and specification package.

Curtain Wall:

Install sound insulation batting as per the drawings.

Mechanical:

Replace ducts and grilled plenum box.

Slab Penetrations:

Fill Pipe and conduit penetrations with insulation and sealed with fire-rated caulking.

Acoustic Upgrade

Increase the height of the demising walls between rooms to be full height walls and acoustically seal ducts penetrations

Event Note

Attendees will meet the BGIS Representative at the security desk located inside the front doors of 300 West Georgia Street Vancouver.

Bidders are advised that they must preregister via email to Jan.Dietrich@bgis.com by November 9, 2020 to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Bidder’s Representative being refused access to the site.

A maximum of one representative of each Bidder, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit. Site Visits will be conducted in small groups.
