Description

Conduct a thorough and professional facility review of existing energy and water systems to identify conservation opportunities and provide detailed cost-saving initiatives complete with energy and water savings, costs, payback, etc. The consultant shall use the IAR tool to assess the energy and GHG savings potential options. The water audit will be adhering to the amendment number 1 of the national call letter for 19-20 leading to a BOMA Best 3.0 certification. The consultant shall use LEED V4's Interior Design & Construction (IDC) water efficiency prerequisite flow rates in their recommendations.

Proponents are advised that there will be an OPTIONAL site visit to be held on the date specified within the item 1.4 of the RFP Lite. A maximum of one representative of each Proponent, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit. Attendees will meet the BGIS Project Manager at 555 Booth St. Ottawa ON. Site visits will be conducted in small groups. Proponents are advised that they MUST preregister via email to elizabeth.dalziel@bgis.com by 2:00 PM June 11, 2020, to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Proponent’s Representative being refused access to the site. Safety Shoes are mandatory, Masks must be worn for the duration of site visits.

BGIS would like to bring your attention to the following section of the RFP Lite. There is a page count limit for the bid submission to this RFP. The limit of pages that will be evaluated for this project is 9 pages. Any bid response that exceeds the 9-page limit will only have the first 9 pages of the submission evaluated.

3.1.1 Proponents shall respond to the Mandatory and Rated Requirements outlined in Part 4 – Proposal Submission Requirements and present their Technical Proposal in the format specified and in compliance with the page count stated in table 4.9 “Total Page/Weight”. Information provided on pages beyond the stated limit will not be reviewed and evaluated. BGIS will count from the first page of the Proposal and will not review any pages that exceed the limit. Please note that cover pages and mandatory documents would be considered in the mandatory page count.
