Background: Correctional Service Canada (CSC) currently occupies the 2nd floor of the Oxford Building in Prince George, BC. Correctional Service Canada (CSC) is to relocate to a 500 square metre 1st-floor space to accommodate growth and modernize their premises. Project Scope: This scope of work is in place in order to complete the office fit-up for the Correctional Services Canada (CSC) facility located at the Oxford Building – 280 Victoria Street, Prince George, BC V2L 4X3, 1st floor. The CSC project is a fit-up of a partial floor. Minor demolition work is required in certain spaces. The construction will include but not limited to: new partition walls (with force protection and STC ratings), new doors and hardware (with force protection and STC ratings), new floor finishes and baseboards, new wall finishes, new lighting and associated equipment. A new ceiling grid, T-bar and lighting are required along with Mechanical and Electrical equipment in the ceiling including HVAC. Life safety systems will be upgraded as per building code. Electrical work will include general power distribution and a new panel to meet the requirements of the new office space. Conduit pathways to be built will include the following systems: IT Communications and Security Systems. Base building HVAC system modifications required as New urinalysis, and kitchenettes.
