GOC887068 - CONTRACTOR - GOC887068 - CONTRACTOR - Anchor Inspection and Cladding Repairs

Scope of Work/Overview:
Perform repairs to precast panels where spalling has occurred as per Crosier Kilgour cladding inspection from 2017 (GOC388123) including review of all cladding repairs noted in section 3.1 and 3.2 of that report. Perform detailed investigation of the steel support and anchor elements for representative precast concrete panels cladding. To minimize destructive investigation - investigation of the panel support and anchorage shall be limited to areas where spalls occurred (as much as practically possible). Through-wall inspection and relatively larger openings may be required at representative anchor locations to allow for detailed analysis of insulation and the condition of the panel connections to their full extent. Coordinate localized repairs of spalls with cladding support investigation. The configuration and condition of the steel elements supporting the precast concrete panels to be reviewed in detail. Provide report on condition of anchors with recommendations for repair and comments on remaining life expectancy of existing anchor system and insulation to be used for planning of future cladding replacement. All penetrations created during the inspection to be repaired using industry accepted practices for precast panels.
