GOC417970-CT-Li - Contractor - Sculpture Refurbishing – Temporary mitigation measures

Scope of Work/Overview:
1) To remove existing elements as identified per requirement from the sculpture.
2) To store all removed elements in laydown area per requirement as described.
3) To remove any residual material left from elements and welds on posts per requirement.
4) To cover up damages and close holes on posts per requirement.
5) To provide elevated access for inspection before and after removal of elements.
6) To provide support for the existing structure as required.
7) If any designated dangerous substances encountered during the removal process, please follow the required abatement policy and regulation.
8) A specialized contractor who must be a member of the Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals is required for this project.
