THIS PROCUREMENT HAS SECURITY REQUIREMENTS
The Work generally involves interior renovations to relocate an existing Anti-vault counter and create two (2) new soft interview rooms, a monitor room, a Breath test, finger print and live scan space, equipment and duty bag storage, new washroom, and new file room within the existing space. The Work includes but is not necessarily limited to: electrical systems including cable, conduit, circuit breakers, and telecommunications; architectural features including new steel stud framing, gypsum board, sheet vinyl flooring and rubber base, acoustic wall panels, suspended ceilings and acoustical tile, interior acoustic steel doors and frames, hardware, hollow steel doors, millwork and cabinet work; the upgrade of an anti-vault counter to standards as set forth by the Departmental representative and included herein as Appendix D, including associated architectural reinstatement work, steel stud framing, gypsum board, carpet tile and vinyl sheet flooring, and rubber base boards; mechanical installations including ductwork and duct insulation, diffusers, registers, duct cleaning, Commissioning, air balancing for office and cell areas and all work as specified herein; .3 Document type and amount of debris removed from site and type and amount of materials delivered from landfill. Dated and signed document and submit with commissioning and O&M reports; .4 Disconnection of existing office furniture and move to access walls for painting. Reinstate after painting; .5 Provide new emergency exit plans to PWGSC standards. Each exit plan is to be printed on Alumacore material and wall mounted at 1.5m above finished floors. Plans will be provided to Contractor in pdf format; .6 Move all materials, wall postings and furniture around to complete work; .7 Fill in and submit to the Departmental Representative Appendices attached to the Specifications.
