Description

The Carbon Neutral Study (CNS) identified opportunities to significantly reduce building energy consumption and resulting Green House Gas (GHG) emissions through analysis of potential Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs), with the ultimate target of carbon neutral, or carbon positive, building operation. Option 2, as identified in the CNS, was selected for implementation at the Building. Option 2 meets or exceeds the minimum requirements of a building newly constructed in 2018 but must show a cost neutral Net Present Value (NPV) over a 25 year life cycle. The NPV over a 40 year life cycle was calculated for the given 25 year optimal solution in the CNS.

Attendees will meet the BGIS Project Manager at the lobby at 200 Town Centre Court in Toronto, Ontario. All individuals attending the site visit must bring their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including: safety shoes/boots, safety vests, and hard hats. Individuals without the appropriate PPE will not be permitted to access the site.
