Description

1.         Prior to commencement of duct cleaning, provide a pre-cleaning air flow reading for all supply diffusers, exhaust grilles and open-ended return air ductwork (in the ceiling space) in the area of work, ensure that the air moving system is operating at full load condition. Refer to drawings for more detail about area of work;
2.         Identify ductwork/s with acoustic insulation prior to cleaning. Contractor to provide red line drawings indicating acoustically lined ductwork to engineer for review prior to commencing with duct cleaning;
3.         Provide indoor air quality (IAQ) prior to duct cleaning. The assessment shall include measurement of Particulates matter only. Refer to attached SOW document for detail IAQ scope;
4.         Clean all equipment, plenums, air distribution devices, fans, coils, diffusers, grilles, registers, associated ductwork and duct accessories as per drawings and specification;
5.         Provide Testing, Adjusting and Balancing (TAB) for all supply air diffusers, exhaust grilles, and open ended return air ductwork as shown on drawings;
6.         Provide indoor air quality (IAQ) after duct cleaning. The assessment shall include measurement of Particulates matter only. Refer to attached SOW document for detail IAQ scope;
7.         Provide before/after pictures and videos of ductwork, VAV boxes and diffusers;
8.         Allow for Phasing of work where required by client/tenant.
The Awarded Contractor on this project must ensure compliance with required latest applicable Code, standard, safety acts, best practice and tender documents. Project is planned for completion latest by end DEC 2018.

Event Note

Site visit is MANDATORY. Please note it is the bidder’s responsibility to be familiar with this project’s facility along with the existing site condition prior to bidding. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to start of site walkthrough. Ensure to bring proper PPEs.

All Proponents MUST arrive on time and MUST stay for the entire Mandatory Site Visit. Any Proponent that arrives late or does not stay for the entire Mandatory Site Visit Will be considered noncompliant.

In the event that less than three Proponents attend the site tour, BGIS may cancel the solicitation or schedule an alternative site tour.
