Description

.1 Temporarily disconnect rooftop air handling
unit maintenance platforms (roof platforms) to
facilitate re-roofing. Remove roof platforms and/or
provide temporary support/restraint as required. Air
handling equipment is to remain in service at all
times. Reinstall roof platforms after re-roofing.
.2 Removal and disposal of existing roofing down
to the existing deck (timber sheathing).
.3 Removal and disposal of existing metal and
membrane flashings, and edge drip-strips.
.4 Temporarily remove existing heat-tracing.
Reinstall heat-tracing, and install additional new
heat-tracing as indicated on the Project Drawings.
.5 Temporarily disconnect roof anchors to
facilitate re-roofing. Reinstall and re-certify
roof anchors.
.6 Supply and installation of new architectural
asphalt shingle roof, complete with new metal
