Description

Reshingle the detachment roof with 30-year architectural shingles. New shingles to be like for like in color. Removal of the existing shingles to the solid roof sheathing is required. Evaluate the sheathing condition during the repair works and highlight any problem areas. A new Ice & Weather Shield protective membrane to be installed over entire roof area complete with edge flashing. Due to high winds in the area all shingles are to be nailed down with at least 5-6 nails. Remove old drip edge and install new, install ridge vent. Review all sealant along flashing to ensure it is not deteriorating. If areas are failing, re-caulk. Verify that existing cladding is properly secured to avoid future water infiltration. Roof measures approximately 85ft by 50ft. Radio communication antenna is to be removed and re-installed by the contractor after project is complete.
