GOC1510325-CS-1 - Flood Risk & Mitigation Study

Study for assessing the risk of flooding at the John G. Diefenbaker Building and to provide recommendations and cost to mitigate unexpected increases in the Rideau River. A wall along the Rideau River will also need to be asses to determine who is responsible for the maintenance and repair. A study will be produced with 3 recommended options and class D estimate
 
Bridges and Dams have sensors in place that monitor river levels and over the past few years a result of heavy precipitation or rapid snow melt has produced rapid increases in the water level which could pose potential risks to the property.
 
The consultant will be ask to do a cross sectional model for flooding purposes and to perform a structural assessment as well as assessment of the retaining wall for flood prevention purposes
