PWG1562147, PWG1593005, 06, PWG1728394 - Elevator Pit Access Entrance Creation, Telecom Room Coring, and Toilet Addition

The purpose of PWG1562128 is to provide alternative means of accessing the elevator pits of the Jeanne Mance elevator banks including Elevators 1 and 5 on the west elevator bank and elevators 3, 4, 7, and 8 on the east elevator bank.

The purpose of PWG1593005, 06 is to install core holes and sleeves to allow for telecom cables to be run from the main equipment rooms in the basement of the Jean Talon Building and R. H. Coats Building to the telecom rooms and telecom closets above each main equipment room.
PWG1728394
The purpose of PWG1728394 is to add toilets to washroom spaces on floors 4 and 6 of the Jean Talon Building. The tenant of the floors, Statistics Canada, is currently experiencing capacity issues with the men’s washrooms. Workplace 2.0 standard has been established and has increased the number of occupants on each floor.  The demographics lean strongly towards men, which is causing bottlenecks for washroom use. Currently, there are 51 women and 166 men on the 4th floor and 56 women and 190 men on the 6th floor.
