GOC991263 - Consultant - 11th Floor Induction Coupling Repair

Replace all the old phenolic couplings (dielectric) on all supply and return branches in the 11th floor ceiling space.   At the IAR stage the consultant will identify and inventory all couplings requiring replacement on the 11th floor.  The IAR will also include as a high level option comments on the condition of couplings on other floors, prioritize floors/zones and recommend a phased approach to address the issue throughout the building including Class D estimates of probable costs.  This project at a minimum must plan to do the couplings on the 11th floor.  There are 20 valve sets identified as using the old style coupling on the 11th floor (40 couplings in total).  These will be replaced with a new, appropriate dielectric coupling.   Contractor will refill the system and add appropriate levels of chemical treatment to reach levels as recommended by the chemical treatment contractor.  Some areas have been found to have mold starting to form.  This will need to be abated and replaced with new drywall after the couplings are replaced.
