Description

Statement of Work/Overview:

Replace twenty-eight (28) windows. The new insulated glazing units (IGUs) will include heat-strengthened, double-paned, argon gas filled, security glass (on the exterior), Low-E coated glazing inserts in a thermally broken aluminum frame.
Replace twenty (20) exterior slabs. The native soil on which the slabs rest will require compaction and a new layer of Granular B to ensure that the water will drain away from the building’s foundation.
The cement foundation parging will require local removal and replacement in areas that are severely cracked. This is primarily around the main entrance of the building.
Replace metal caps of the buttresses.
Replace weather stripping on exterior doors.
Replace caulking around the door frames and buttress caps.
Localized reporting required in areas of the exterior brick veneer.
Replace control joints of the building.
Provide clear silicone sealant to face seal the glass inserts in the existing entrance doors.
