The scope of work establishes the security requirements deemed necessary to modify the registry counter and glass on the 17th floor.  The components that will be supplied, installed or relocated within this project must have the capacity to integrate with the existing space and counter.
 Project has been established based on security requirements deemed by tenant for space occupied on 17th floor at 1801 Hollis St, Halifax NB. Project to include installation and implementation of ballistic material to meet security protection level 3/UL752, material and equipment includes:
•             Incorporate into existing counter bullet resistant materials from floor to ceiling. Including:
•             Clear package receivers (one(1) for two(2) wickets + one(1) dedicated to the accessibility wicket)
•             Bullet resistant Glazing Systems laminated polycarbonate SP1250 -  UL752
•             Ballistic Framing
•             Circular transparent speak-thru (one(1) for each wicket)
•             Non-ricochet bullet resistant drop-in deal tray, one (1) per wicket
•             Bullet resistant fiberglass panels
•             Supply/install new ballistic door, framing and glazing, hardware, and prep for card reader.
Consultant services to include design of plans and specs for items mentioned above, review and address accessibility requirements. Provide 99% plans and specs and construction documentation including class D and class A estimates. Review shop drawings and provide bid analysis along with providing substantial completion walkthrough.
