GOC372911-CT - Re-Sealing of Drain Pans in Air Handling Units – 8 pans in total

The pans under the coils are to be replaced with 18-gauge thickness stainless steel pans. The bottom coil of each unit requiring replacement of its pan, will have to be removed. Any mist eliminator blades and humidifier nozzles preventing access to the pans will also have to be temporarily removed to enable the contractor to access the pan. The casing will be opened on the side to take out the botton coil to access the pans. The other equipment can be temporarily removed within the casing. There is no need for the system to be drained as the coils can be isolated. New legs will be required to be installed to support the coil when they are put back in place.
 
These units have been identified by the site team to be the units in Towers A & C which represents 8 pans in total.
 
The implementation of these measures will be performed during afterhours preferably on weekends. This would be recommended to be done during the weekend so the air handling systems can be shut down with the least disruption to the tenants. The system would be turned back on Sunday night so the system has time to run and eliminate odors if any before the regular Monday workday starts for the tenants. Only one or two units would be done at a time so if there is a disruption it is brought to a minimum
