As per the National Call Letter to reduce Greenhouse gas emissions in Federal Facilities, and improve energy efficiency, a reputable and qualified energy consultant is required to undertake a complete re-commissioning (RCx) of the Building Automation System (BAS), Emergency Management System (EMS) and review all the system devices (sensors, actuators, dampers, etc.), and all HVAC equipment systems pertaining to the Federal Government Office buildings located at 32 Church St., St. Catherines, ON.
The retro commissioning will be performed by the successful consultant (and/or sub-consultant as required), working in conjunction with each building's Facilities Manager (FM), Building Technicians and Maintenance Team Lead (MTL) to review, verify, adjust, calibrate, re-program the systems back to original design or improved conditions. The respective facilities Controls Contractor may be required for various tasks during this process.
Upon completion of this assessment, the successful consultant will provide a recommissioning report on the findings/analysis and identify all energy savings achieved throughout this process. Further details on report expectations can be found in Appendix 4 (Requirements Document incld. Recommissioning Assessment Scope of Work).
The consultant is expected to generate the report in their own format, while capturing all scope as identified in the Project Requirements Document. NOTE: The consultant must allow for multiple revisions (min. of 3) per report as necessary upon feedback from the project stakeholder team members before project is considering complete.
