Bidders are advised that a MANDATORY site visit will be conducted on the date and time
specified in Article 2.6.15. A maximum of one representative for each bidder, or
his or her authorized representative, is allowed to attend the MANDATORY site visit. Participants
will meet with BGIS representative at Portage I&II Main Level Security Office, 50
Victoria, Gatineau, Quebec. Bidders will be informed, through an addendum, of the
any change in the date of the site visit.
All site visitors must bring their own protective equipment
individual (PPE) such as safety shoes or boots, safety vests, helmets
Protection ... etc. People without appropriate PPE will not be able to access the site.
Failure of a bidder to attend a mandatory site visit, to register properly
form, sign the BGIS site visit registration sheet and remain present during
throughout the duration of the visit, gives BGIS the right, in its sole discretion, to reject the offer of
the bidder in question.
Bidders are required to carefully consider the location(s) where the deliverables will be
to inform themselves about existing conditions and restrictions and to include in their
bid for an amount to cover the costs of all work covered by the contract.
