GOC1824309-CT-RFPQ - Fire Alarm Replacement

The purpose of this request for prequalification is for BGIS (“owner”), to obtain offers from interested and qualified construction professionals to perform the work as outlined below.

The purpose of the project is to replace the existing fire alarm system at the Henry Larsen Building located at 5010 49 Ave, in Yellowknife Northwest Territories. The existing fire alarm system (Notifier) was installed in 2009. BGIS has indicated the current fire alarm system has obsolete components, and the system is becoming increasingly difficult to find replacement parts for. BGIS has also noted the existing system is old, prone to issues, inefficient, and requires frequent maintenance. BGIS has indicated the existing fire alarm system equipment is working as intended currently but causes issues when it needs to be repaired or serviced.
