Work of this Contract includes but not limited to the following:
Contractor to excavate the existing sanitary pipe below grade and repair the dislodged sanitary pipe as required. Contractor to provide new supports to prevent future dislocation.
Awarded contractor must review and comply with all requirements and deliverables set forth in the Mitigation Measures Form (MMF) to remain compliant with the Impact Assessment Act. The Mitigation Measures Form (MMF) dated April 24, 2024.
Awarded contractor must review and comply with all requirements set forth in the Soil Management Plan to remain compliant with regulatory framework. The Soil Management Plan (SMP) dated April 4, 2024.
It should be noted that the Contractor must cease work upon concrete cutting until the soil investigation has been completed by the Environmental Consultant. Upon receipt of the finalized SMP, the Contractor shall continue with the scope of work ensuring any additional applicable measures outlined in the finalized SMP are adhered to.
GC’s scope also includes but not limited to completing Project Specific DSS and confirmation of any found HAZMAT, after buried piping affected by work are exposed. Include required pre and post air testing when required. Contractor to carry for cash allowance for DSS, Type I abatement including pre & post Air testing where required.
Ensure completed work follows the most stringent and current applicable Code Requirements.
Furnish all labour, materials, equipment, tools and supports as well as supervision to provide a complete installation, tested and in working order, as shown on the drawings. The contractor shall perform the work stipulated in the contract and any or all contract changes and change directives, and shall furnish, unless otherwise provided in the contract, everything necessary for the proper performance and completion of the work.
All work shall be fully tested, commissioned and in good working order at time of hand-over to owner. Make good any damages to existing equipment and/or system(s). Coordinate work and working hours with the owner and other trades to minimize disruption. All work shall be completed once adequate protection of adjacent spaces has been installed. Contractor to ensure minimal dust creation during work.
Provide caulking and firestopping for all mechanical services passing through fire separations as indicated on the architectural layout.
The contractor shall obtain and pay for all required regulatory approvals, permits and fees.
Anticipated construction end date: October 30, 2024
