Description

Upon inspection it was discovered that the new sections of the Events and Conference Management spaces were not equipped with Emergency Exit Signs. This project is required in order to install Emergency Exit Signs to help direct tenants to proper emergency exits. some areas such as the basement levels of the building was not part of Phase I.

Event Note

Mandatory site visit attendees will meet the BGIS representative at the National Library & Public Archives - 395 Wellington St., Ottawa, ON. Bring valid ID, and work boots. Proponents are advised that there will be an Mandatory site visit to be held on the date specified within the item 2.6.15. of the ITT Document.. A maximum of one representative of each Proponent, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the Mandatory site visit.

All individuals attending the site visit must bring their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): safety shoes/boots, hard hats, safety glasses, and face mask. Individuals without the appropriate PPE will not be permitted to access the site.

Bidders are only required to attend one site visit (if the project has a mandatory site visit) to be eligible to bid.
