Description

Scope of Work/Overview:
Work of this Contract comprises the construction of lateral supports for a concrete masonry wall on the second floor of the Government of Canada building, located at 494 Dundas Street East in Belleville, Ontario; and further identified as the Site. New steel girts shall be installed inside the building between the existing steel columns and will be anchored into the existing block wall along the length of the window band on the eastern façade of the building.

Event Note

Bidders are advised that there will be an OPTIONAL site visit to be held on the date and times specified within the item 2.6.15 in ITT document. A maximum of one representative of each Bidder, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit. Attendees will meet the BGIS Representative at the Site. Site visits will be conducted in small groups. Bidders are advised that they must preregister via email to Rajesh.Gupta@bgis.com by (Tuesday, January 17, 2023 - 2:00 pm) to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Bidder’s Representative being refused access to the site. BGIS will contact all Bidders that register and confirm the site visit time in the case when there are multiple site visit times. Bidders are only required to attend one scheduled site visit to be eligible to bid.
COVID-19 Site Specific Safety Plans and social distancing must be adhered to at all times where possible. All individuals are to follow Federal and Provincial guidelines as they relate to Covid 19 preventative measures.
Proponents are to meet at the Front Lobby of the Building and are to ensure that they register their name and title as well as their company name with BGIS.
