Scope of Work/Overview:
Refer to Appendix C - SOW Accessibility Assessment and Feasibility document; without limiting the scope of this project, this study includes performing an Accessibility Assessment of the entire space (incl. common area as well as tenanted space such as offices, labs, etc.) followed with a feasibility analysis to address all Accessibility gaps and achieve full accessibility in accordance with latest regulations. objectives include, but not limited to:
- Conducting an Accessibility Assessment establishing the site's current condition of all elements pertaining to accessible design; providing a summary report identifying items that are up to Accessibility code compliance and items that are not Accessibility code compliant.
- Based on the findings of the Accessibility Assessment, the Consultant is to complete a feasibility study for proposing solutions to address accessibility elements and components that are non compliant with latest accessibility regulations
- The Consultant shall identify any circumstances or building conditions that may present limitations to achieving full accessibility compliance
- Proposed bundle of feasible solutions to address accessibility gaps are to be itemized per element/component; identifying costs, level of priority, implications, etc., for each item such that to assist the end client with investment decisions
- Consultant to facilitate workshop meeting with stakeholders to better understand user requirements as well as validate proposed solutions with client prior to investigating into further detail. - Consultant to compile results of site visit into a comprehensive report; refer to the Appendix E - BGIS Consultant Scope Deliverable Guidelines (RP1-PSV-12135-EN / FR) for expectations. Report to include floor plans, site photos, tables, and cost estimates, engineering calculations, outlining the existing conditions of the property, and providing optional scopes of work.
The Consultant shall also provide their recommendations for the best building results, based on the feasibility of the project scope, any limitations pertaining to the building or site conditions, and the cost benefit of implementing the proposed scope of work.
