Description

Scope of Work/Overview:
Scope of Work includes but is not limited to the following:
• Restoration of materials and finishes that have been removed due to flood damage
• Including but not limited to: flooring repairs (new carpet tile, carpet base, linoleum), wall and ceiling gypsum board repairs, including heritage related finishing work, reinstatement/repair of existing millwork, minor plumbing, ceiling tile replacement complete with suspended ceiling grid assembly, reinstatement of existing ceiling light fixtures and air diffusers, reinstatement of power/data outlets utilizing existing electrical, reinstatement of existing thermostats, re-installation of existing furniture/equipment and connection to power/data, to return all spaces to original condition.

IMPT. NOTES:

457 Richmond St in London, Ontario is a Classified Heritage building.
This project has security requirements. Bidders to ensure compliance as required.

Additional Bidding Instructions

All respondents must submit their questions for clarification on this portal only at www.bgis.merx.com. Request for clarification delivered by any other method will not be accepted.
Bids submitted at $100,000 or greater shall include the following bid security (“Bid Security”): i. a bid bond in a commercially reasonable form or an irrevocable standby letter of credit issued by a financial institution authorized to conduct business in Canada as a Schedule I or Schedule II chartered bank in the amount of at least 10% of the Bid Price and that shall be in effect until forty-five (45) calendar days following Closing Date; and ii. a confirmation from the Bidder’s surety that, upon the Bidder being selected as the Selected Bidder, to furnish any contract security prescribed in the Contract in respect of the Work (a performance bond and labour and materials payment bond, each in the amount of 50% of the Contract Price + Value Added Taxes)
