The project is located at Jean Canfield GOCB at 191 Great George Street, Charlottetown, PE.
The Work generally involves the modification and fit-up of an existing office space on the fourth floor of the Jean Canfield GOCB. The Work includes but is not limited to the following:
.1 Demolition and removal of partitions, removal and/or relocation of doors, and supply and installation of new doors (including barrier-free doors and actuators for Rooms 401E & 401F); construction/erection of new partitions, including acoustic partitions, acoustic barriers in access floor plenum (below partitions), and acoustic panels; renewal/restoration of interior finishes and trims, renewal/restoration of flooring, patching and painting; temporary removal and subsequent reinstallation of ceiling and wall mounted fixtures, equipment, etc. to facilitate construction and to enable patching and painting and resurfacing of disturbed surfaces, and repairing flooring and other surfaces where partitions have been removed; supply and installation of new window shades and blinds.
.2 The electrical Work generally involves modifying electrical systems and lighting, and mechanical building systems. Electrical work includes but is not necessarily limited to the relocation of existing recessed floor boxes, relocation of existing lighting, addition of exit signs, additions to/reprogramming of networked lighting control system, additions to and relocation of fire alarm signaling devices, additions to existing access
control system.
.3 Mechanical work generally includes modifying and relocating existing ventilation services primarily located below a raised floor system, installing new acoustic transfer ducts above and below raised floor, and modifying sprinkler system to accommodate new office layout.
