Scope of Work/Overview:
This project consists of the fit-up of three rooms for the CBSA tenant in the Yarmouth Government of Canada Building.
Basement Storage Room #2
Secure fit-up of downstairs storage including new metal door, secure cage within room, window bars, new sink, and new air exchange system.
Second Floor Interview Room
Secure fit up of second floor interview room including new furniture, electrical rough in for security system devices, new STC rated doors and wall partition upgrades.
Second Floor Interview Room
Secure fit up of second floor interview room including new STC rated doors, wall partition upgrades, and mechanical modification to meet STC rating requirements.

Event Note

Confirmation of intent to attend the optional site visit must be sent by email a list of attendees to Shelley.Demont@bgis.com no later than 2:00 PM AST/ADT, on the business day prior to the Optional Site Visit. Photo ID and Proof of Vaccine must be provided to enter the facility.

A maximum of one representative of each Bidder, or its authorized representative, is permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit. Site visits will be conducted in small groups.
Individuals without the appropriate PPE will not be permitted to access the site. COVID-19 Site Specific Safety Plans and social distancing must be adhered to. Masks must be worn for the duration of the site visit.

THIS PROCUREMENT HAS SECURITY REQUIREMENTS
All respondents must submit their questions for clarification on this portal only at www.bgis.merx.com. Request for clarification delivered by any other method will not be accepted.
Failure of a Bidder to attend a Mandatory Teleconference and/or Site Visit, properly register, sign the BGIS Site Visit Sign-In Sheet and remain present for the duration of the Teleconference/Site Visit will entitle BGIS in its sole discretion to reject such Bidder’s Bid.

In respect of the Government of Canada’s Certification Process, you are required to complete and return the certification form in Appendix E as part of your submission. This is identified as a mandatory requirement.
