Description

This project is to assess the existing roofing and tapered insulation and formulate the best option to address the problem. There are six separate flat roof sections that require replacement, each with a modified bitumen roofing material covering the entire roof of the building. There are signs of wear through visible blistering, membrane shrinkage, degranulation and insulation ridging. Miscellaneous temporary repairs have been completed in years past on the roof field as well as the parapet flashing.

Proponents are advised that there will be an Optional site visit to be held on the date and times
specified within the item 1.5 in the RFP. A maximum of one representative of each Proponent, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the Optional site visit. Attendees will meet the
BGIS Representative at the north parking lot, main entrance of 494 DUNDAS ST E, Bellville, ON.
Site visits will be conducted in small groups. Proponents are advised that they must preregister via
email to Thilothamy Mohanakanthan (thilothamy.mohanakanthan@bgis.com), by site
registration date mentioned in the schedule within the RFP to be authorized to access the site.
