Description

Implementation of written instructions for the operation, maintenance, and testing/verification of HVAC systems and the calibration of all sensors, probes and gauges on which the systems depend for efficient operation. Regulation requires site specific standard operating procedures that seek to prevent inadvertent releases and instructs on-site and service personnel on how to maintain on-going compliance with applicable regulations. SOPs are to be created for sites where there is halocarbon containing equipment over 5.4 tons/hr rated cooling capacity. The sites for halocarbon containing equipment with a capacity of 5.4 tons or less will require an abbreviated SOP. Consultant shall follow the detail scope of work document (RP1-PSV-12068-en or RP1-PSV-12068-fr) to create the SOP attached to this document.Between 33% and 66% report submission, consultant shall conduct face to face interviews with BGIS Ops Team to collect procedures that are not documented. Consultant to integrate into SOP. 2 interviews.

Optional Site Visit. Attendees will meet the BGIS Representative at 15, Eddy Street, Gatineau, Québec, J8X 4B3. Site visits will be conducted in small groups. Proponents are advised that they must preregister via email to (Chady.Moussa@bgis.com) by (November 9th, 2021 before 2:00 PM) to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Proponents representative being refused access to the site. All individuals are to follow Federal and Provincial guidelines as they relate to Covid 19 preventative measures. All individuals attending the site visit must bring their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as: safety shoes/boots, safety vests, hard hats, safety glasses. Individuals without the appropriate PPE will not be permitted to access the site.

Additional Bidding Instructions

BGIS would like to bring your attention to the following section of the RFP Lite. The limit of pages that will be evaluated for this project is 9 pages. Any bid response that exceeds the 9-page limit will only have the first 9 pages of the submission evaluated.

3.3.1 Proponents shall respond to the Mandatory and Rated Requirements outlined in Part 4 – Proposal Submission Requirements and present their Technical Proposal in the format specified and in compliance with the page count stated in table 4.9 “Total Page/Weight”. Information provided on pages beyond the stated limit will not be reviewed and evaluated. BGIS will count from the first page of the Technical Proposal (excluding Mandatory Requirements) until the total number of pages allowed is reached. BGIS will not review any pages that exceed the limit. Mandatory requirements should be submitted as the first document(s) in the Technical Proposal but shall be excluded in the page count.
