Description

The scope of this project is to remove and replace all asphalt to full depth, re-grade and re-compact all soft areas of sub-grade, replace the concrete and asphalt islands, and replace the curb on the East side of the loading dock area and North parking lot. Also, this project will include the widening of the parking lot entrance to accommodate two exit lanes and one entrance lane, adjustment to signage will be required as needed. Asphalt area, which is currently gravel, up to the trailer parked in the South-East corner of the property. A separate project has been identified to include electrical vehicle charging stations (EVCS). Locations of EVCS are still to be determined and the full implementation of the EVCS project will require coordination with this project.

Event Note

Proponents are advised that there will be an Optional site visit to be held on the date and times
specified within the item 1.5 of the RFP. A maximum of one representative of each Proponent, or itsauthorized representative, are permitted to attend the Optional site visit. Attendees will meet the
BGIS Representative at the front lobby of the Environmental Canada Building, 4905 Dufferin St,
Toronto, ON. Site visits will be conducted in small groups. Proponents are advised that they must
preregister via email to Abeera.Akram@bgis.com by the date and time specified with item 1.5 of the RFP to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Proponents representative being refused access to the site.

Attendees will meet the BGIS Project Manager in the lobby at 4905 Dufferin Street, Toronto. All individuals attending the site must bring their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including: Safety shoes/ boots. Individuals without appropriate PPE will not be permitted to access the site.
